Our aspiration for the development of Scotts Wood Park is to deliver and create a vibrant and sustainable community that encourages economic growth, social interaction, the highest design standards and provide infrastructure that will be benefit both existing and new residents.
Following the public consultation that was undertaken in July 2024, we are grateful for the comments received and feedback has been taken on board to evolve the plans where possible. Griggs Homes is delighted to confirm that the Outline application has now been submitted to Hertsmere Borough Council, which you can view on their planning portal by clicking here and using the application reference number: 24/1022/OUT

Changes to the application
How we have responded to your feedback
The project team received extensive feedback from the community, and this has been considered ahead of submitting the planning application. The following changes have subsequently been made to the proposals:
- Secondary school removed from the proposed scheme
- A reduction from 400 to 350 homes
- Provision of 70% affordable tenures remains unchanged
- 70% of the scheme will comprise 2, 3 and 4 bed houses
- Commitment to the provision of the Community, Health and Well-being hub
These updates and commitments will ensure that the proposals reflect the feedback provided by the community and to maximise the benefits to the local community through these proposals.

How we consulted with the public
Your comments have shaped the future for Scotts Wood Park, Bushey.
We held a community event on Thursday 18th July 2024, to present the proposals to the community. Members of the public, community groups and political stakeholders were invited to provide their feedback on the proposals.
This was held at The Studio, Metropolitan Bushey, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD23 2TR.
